Job Description
Summary:
JOB SUMMARY: Responsible for the operational and fiscal management of the clinical laboratory and pathology, in accordance with established hospital and department policies and standards. Ensures compliance with all regulatory requirements mandated by appropriate State and Federal accrediting and licensing agencies. Special projects or other assignments may be given with expectations to be completed in a specified timeframe.
EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, TRAINING:
1. Possession of a valid state Clinical Laboratory Scientist license generalist required.
2. Minimum 5 years supervisory clinical laboratory experience preferred.
3. Meeting qualification as Technical Supervisor pursuant to CLIA regulations Subpart M -- Personnel for Nonwaived Testing, sections 493.1423, and 493.1489, and must possess a degree of skill commensurate with individual's education, training or experience and technical abilities.
4. Knowledge and skills of laboratory accreditation standards, computer system, budgeting, general accounting, power point, general statistics, supervision, spreadsheet analysis, word processing, business analysis, quality assurance and management system required.
5. Knowledge and skills in public communication, public speaking, change management, team building, Quality tools, Quality control and preventive action with root cause analysis desired.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
