Experience:
You must have one year of specialized experience at the GS-13 or equivalent level. Specialized experience must be documented in your resume. Specialized experience is defined as:
1) leading, developing, managing, and administering HR policies in the Federal civilian service; and leading, developing, and managing various retention and talent development programs (e.g., entrance/exit surveys, mentorship, coaching, upward mobility, succession management, etc.) and 2) supervising and leading a team of HR professionals. Experience:
Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional, philanthropic, religious, spiritual, community, student, social). Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills, and can provide valuable training and experience that translates to paid employment. You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
